It is the result of model gastronomic producers Julián Gil and Silvia Girón, who along with revered chef Martín Berasategui, tackled a difficult task, that of making high-quality mayonnaise for sale.
Julián earned his culinary reputation in Spain by his artistry in creating two of La Tienda’s finest products - our exceptional Yemas de Santa Teresa, and our consummate Carne de Membrillo de Santa Teresa quince jelly (available in a wooden box
Julián has developed a patented process so that authentic artisan quality mayonnaise could be exported from Spain for the first time. Just snip off the end and dispense from the container, or open the carton and serve in a shallow dish. You can make the best Ensalada Rusa ever. Also great on white or green asparagus spears; or with merluza, monkfish, or cod. Don’t forget potato salad, too. Mayonnaise from Spain – the country that developed this favorite sauce.
